TMEPA is a membership association of all 60 Municipal Electric Power Providers of Tennessee serving over 2.1 million homes and businesses.  This figure includes over 70% of the electric consumers in the State of Tennessee.  Our Primary objective is to represent the members in the state legislative arena although we do participate in national issues in conjunction with APPA and TVPPA.  As a service oriented organization, we also provide a number of other services to the members and exist for their benefit.  Membership in TMEPA brings a host of benefits to its members and the financial savings have certainly exceeded the nominal annual fee each system pays.  The following are informational documents that may be of interest.  Just “click” on the title for more information.

The 2013 TMEPA 47th Annual Meeting will be at the Peabody Hotel, Memphis, TN July 10-12, 2013. The Planning Committee is in the process of finalizing the program with several outstanding speakers already confirmed.  Our Welcoming Reception will be at the renowned Rum Boogie Cafe on Wednesday, July 10.  Our Annual Luncheon in Honor of TMEPA Past Presidents, compliments of our Annual Meeting Sponsors is Thursday at the Peabody and the very special and talented singer/songwriter Dennis Morgan will perform at the Annual Banquet Thursday evening, July 11.  It may surprise you the songs he's written and/or co-written.  Click on his name for more information. Click on the 47th Annual Meeting link in the left margin for access to all Registration forms and additional information including the Golf Registration and Sponsor Information forms. The first session of the 108th General Assembly adjourned Friday, April 19, 2013. The earliest date for adjournment since 1990; the flag has come down from atop the capitol indicating that the General Assembly is no longer in session. The second session will convene Tuesday, January 14th, 2014.  We urge you to be in contact with your Senators and Representative over the summer and fall months and continue to build the great relationships we already enjoy.
